Authorities have identified a husband and wife as the victims of an early morning house fire in southwestern South Dakota.

An early morning house fire in Belvidere has killed two people. Jackson County Sheriff Ray Clements Junior says the fire was reported in a Belvidere home just before 1 a.m. Monday morning by an off-duty deputy from Florida who spotted the fire as he drove along Interstate 90.
